Consumable Recipes. I need HOW much stuff?

Made a consumable recipe today! Woo!
Here's what I'm supposed to get to make an Old String Arrow Binding. (The lowest level quiver)

3 Grass Spider Thread, 7 House Spider Thread, 2 Quadhorn Leather, 3 Mongoose Leather, 2 Grass Cloth, 3 House Cloth, 1 Gloopy Resin, 1 Waste Resin

Hooooly crap. This is to make something that costs 10g in the store.

i dont want to see a recipe on the good stuff then that must require like a tono of different stuff thats extremely hard to get

Once i get some more Tea Leaf dye I'm going to make my recipe for Grass Basket Quiver (Archery 5 quiver).

Oh, it also requires a Sewing tool, which i don't think has been seen in any of the first 5 towns.

might be in T6 or T7 that tool but its definetly not in any of the first 5 towns

i think there is a sewing tool in maalin, dont quote me about it though.

I made the consumable recipe for an apprentice staff.
Here are the ingredients: 3 stickboard, 6 rotten plank, 1 liliac geode, 3 citrine geode, 1 quadhorn leather, 3 mongoose leather, 1 gloopy resin, 1 waste resin. I already got all the ingredients, except for the quadhorn leather, i need better oil to make that.
