Currently, which is a cool new addition, the altars flame up when you hover over trophies according to which altars that type of trophy can be fed to.

The trophies in the church do not flame up like the ones outside. I know I missed them even being there for a while. Should they flame too?

Heck, I'll even suggest including their (altars in church) usage during tutorial but that may border to overload since the ones in the church aren't needed in the beginning levels, really.

Is this active on download client too?

I've been on browser for bit for foraging, but installed the client again yesterday for one character. The hovering/picking up of trophies does not cause any altars to flame. I also don't see the rank on pots. At thot at first it was just bug with floating things, but seems like it's just not working.

No. Some selective new player additions have only been added on the browser to save time since that is where any truly new player would start.
