Crafting guide

Is there a crafting guide available? I'd like to try my hand at crafting, but i'm not sure how to go about it. Where do i get dye's (by getting plants or berries and putting them in a dye press i presume? But then, where do i get plants and berries? By gardening? How and where?). How about cloths? Where do you get these?

please try reading though or even searching before posting, as there are numerous different guide listed in this section
