potential Lavapool or Yetibeast back on nodiatis?

There have been three low-leveled toons constantly begging, spamming the chat, and just plain annoying. the most known one is "Kreeperkiller"he has asked to join clans, and when he joins those clans he begs for gold just like lavapool did. After it was found out, by myself,rayaxe, and evilviper we warned civil and uncivil about it. There's two more toons that showed up, about the same time as this toon did asking to join clans. Constantly spamming civil, the toons names are "danthemanthedude", and "danthedude"

I was asked by danthedude to join clan NOVA. Reluctant to let him in, as earlier told that kreeperkiller is lavapool , by evilviper and rayaxe. I figured it was him, or his friend yetibeast, or whatever. so I did not let Danthedude into NOVA, as the guy kept constantly spamming the civil chat, singing songs i had never even heard of. I sent the guy a message saying " why are you spamming the civil chat? are you trying to get muted?" and the guy responded saying " i'm not. I'm singing" after that response, i thought to myself. this guy is a moron, or a little kid, and added him to ignore.

just letting all of you nodders know, and to be careful of the toons you let into your clans. especially certain lower leveled toons. I will screenie next time if this continues. Watch out for the scammers, beggers, and douchebags. ~ Lakki

researching into this...I am unsure if danthemanthedude and kreeperkiller are the same person, but I would put a bet up that danthedude and danthemanthedude are the same person. He had denied this fact, so, I am taking his word for the moment, but once I find more evidence, I will post it.

Lmsculptorweed is NOT lavapool. Lmsculptorweed is one of our clannies alts, ( won't publicize it here) but those other toons are definitely lavapool/yetibeast

I think portalgames has some connection one way or another but he seems to behave better than lavapool. When I talk to him, it doesn't feel like I'm talking to a complete idiot like when I've talked to lavapool.

Dear Glitchless, I know you are reading this so PLEASE. look into it. Lavapool/ Yetibeast are deliberately making low leveled toons to join clans constantly begging, attempting scams, or just trolling the civil chat.

It is a pain in the arse, clans such as NOVA, GUIDE, or even the higher-up clans such as Wpack or BLOOD are reluctant to help newer toons because this guy, or these two people keep coming back. On a weekly basis, it's very easy to be able to tell when it is him, the toons never get past level 13 and disappear. ( no offense/ but maybe a little.) the guy often talks with horrible grammar, begs all the time, and spams the civil chat.

On a weekly or monthly basis we have to remove these toons from our clans, i'm not sure what else to do. Expecting every new player to be lavapool/yetibeast is harsh, but at the same time the player(s) is a cancer to this game. Makes it difficult to help newer players, trust them, or ultimately give a crap to help them. Unfortunately, i'm not that cold-hearted of a player. I wish to do my best to help the newer players, but this ultimately effects the entire population, and the effort that toons like myself, or Daer, or anyone who wishes to help new players achieve.

IS there anything you can do glitch? I even posted screenshots of the last player we suspected yetibeast/lavapool to be AND emailed them to you. I'm sorry to bother but this is happening EVERY month. Just posting my concerns. thanks for your time ~ Lakki.

If we could positively identify them as a previously perma banned character, we'd ban them too, but we cannot in this case. Begging is common. Deal with it appropriately by warning them and kicking them out of your clan if they continue. As for scamming, if you can give us proof of that, we can perm ban this potentially new person as well.

I'll continue to be on the lookout, but if a person is deliberately begging non-stop on new toons from the same Ip address over and over and over, for months at a time, can they not be banned? i mean it's literally hurting the community, if the other clans cannot bring in the newer players due to the obsessive begging. they all eventually end up doing it, but i think this person is smart enough to not try and attempt another scam.

If it's agreed by the community (gets a bunch of forum post replies) that a particular player is doing nothing but begging, we will issue them a warning, take note of their IP, and if they continue to beg from that IP, they'll be banned. Asking for help is one thing, but the nonstop begging is agreed to be detrimental.

Honestly, I do feel there needs to be some sort of action (whether it be little or small). The constant begging (and spamming of chat) needs to stop.

Lavapool is a confirmed scammer; I don't know about the new people, except one of them (whose name I can't recall) was asking for a clan last night, and several people in NOVA let me know he was kicked from that clan for admitting to being Lavapool. Can't really say more at this point but if I see him constantly begging I'll warn him then report, like anyone else.

I don't know if all the new characters that i see spamming chat lately are Lavapool, but i do believe that it is just one person doing it, Lava or not some action needs to be taken.

I think at this point that there is a problem with the char (formerly known as lavapool) just for the ongoing infamy...
If this person wanted to actually be successful on nod, they would keep using the char that was kicked from those clans. But no, this person makes a new char, rejoins the same clans, and does the same stuff over and over. "Look everyone! They are still talking about me!"
I admit there is a bit of paranoia going on, and maybe this persons behavior could be fixed if we ignore it... But this is Nodiatis, I don't expect anyone to be that mature.

Said before ill say it again, associate accounts with ip's and/or player blacklist and fines

I think for NOVA we are just going to shut down recruitment for a month or 2

I think you should not do that and give everyone a chance until proven they are lavapool, either by community or by their actions. Lavapool, Yetibeast, Kreepykiller and a bunch of new toons ARE all the same person, i can make a list if i had civil/uncivil on (which lately i keep closed to avoid stupidity from other people).

I also disagree with locking toons to IP's... I travel frequently from the US to europe and it would suck not to be able to log my toon when in one place or the other BUT it would be good to have a log of where the toon is logged via IP and keep a list of banned accounts IPs. Now im not trying to say ban everyone that has been banned once from a certain IP because there's public IPs and can affect innocents, but just keep track of them and if toons are reported then you can take actions.

What are the chances of you looking into PM logs from flagged players??

If they take begging to PM as a community we cant do anything unless the person reports it, and then its purely his v her word type situation.

Maybe have it so that it logs PMs and then you have a program check it for Pass words and ****, and flag those toons, if they match begging toons, then punishment can go from there as 99.99999% of the time, a new toon asking for pass details is up to no good. Even if it is from another new person who they think they can trust
