Gardening Mini-Game
Is there a way to make this min-game more accessible for the players? As it stands now not too many do this because it is the most time consuming mini game. Maybe a great reduce in cd would help. I'm asking this mainly to reduce the difference between crafting cost of a slasher/piercer and a crusher. All use ingots, so no change there. But cursher uses bones which is 200k compared to a leather no lower than 1 mil.

I also support a reduced cooldown for that one and dust collecting...but dust collecting is at least fun, where gardening is just tedious.

This.
I support this, just a slight cooldown on it and everyone would be happy.

Gardening is tedious, yes. That is one of the factors why top tier oils and leathers are expensive.
I do not support making gardening easier.

Without the delay it would cease to be a memory game.

What if the cd kicks in only when you pair wrong. If you pair right, no cd applied, if you didn't paired at all, no cd applied. Selecting just one triggers no cd, selecting 2 triggers the cd only if you get it wrong.
Any feedback on this ?

Just deal with it. Remember, vegetables and oils are expensive. so if you get a 48xt30 pull (which is still possible), you've practically struck gold.

This is no feedback. What you have said is beyond the scope of this thread.

how about when you enter the mini game all tiles are revealed for 2.5-5 seconds, then disappear. Reduce the cooldown but only until a wrong tile is clicked. That way its still a memory game and actually rewards you for remembering correct. The better the memory the faster the mini game

I support Paul's suggestion.
Another idea: Eliminate one row or column of resins to match. ie. Have 12 resins to match instead of 16.

There's a very simple reason why showing the entire board at the start is not a good idea.

Good point, EnigmaWave. All that is left is having cooldown only when paired wrong. And maybe Ballrog's idea to eliminate one row. I do not think those ideas will make this mini-game less of a memory game, but more of a rewarding mini game for ppl with good memory.

The biggest thing I don't get about gardening is that the mini-game isn't like "you plant a seed, and wait for it to grow". Isn't that how gardening works in reality? Of course, you need to tend the soil, as well as water the plant.
But nonetheless, when you actually dig up the thing, it should be the same old mini-game as before, but with wrong moves causing a cooldown. If you take too many steps, you get less food because that you destroyed the plant.
In exchange, gardening levels are easier to grind through. If these changes happen, gardening should drop more resoures per harvest than what it does now.
