Can arena revive you if you die in PVE combat?

My arena teammate and i were farming heroic goblin swamp and he died. I called our arena 3rd hoping he would come revive him but was too far away. After my teammate dies, i wonder to myself;

"If we Qed for arena, would he be revived if we make into arena before the looting time runs out?"

If the answer is yes, this could be an exploit imo. Arena groups cheating death by doing an arena match.

I asked this in chat but nobody was able to come up with an answer.

But.... If I recall correctly, the queue gets disrupted due to the death of any one of the team members, and queue takes a while before you draw a match. Don't think this is possible.

yeah you leave queue if someone dies even if it's a cb. and can't requeue til they come back to life ie after looting or rez
