I've just tested the stunning ability of the staff and it is reasonably effective (not as good as 18 whips or 10 crushers pre-nerf). Additionally, casting ability is not impaired.

No. It's a 2H weapon but only gets 10% stun chance already.

yes, it's a pvp setup. the idea is that you (and your teammates) stun enough to not take as much damage, reducing the need for regen. also, when you get to bonus that vamp amount increases, whereas regen doesn't.

though because of venge shot, it's prob better to go regen/dot with the same 43 staff stunspam.
