Issues with Logging In

Hi. I've been trying to fix this but it's not working so my friend said I should ask in the forums.

Anyways, I've been trying to log in to Nod for three days. It lets me get to the log in screen, and then it says the announcements are updating and I can't log in until they're done. But after five or six minutes of waiting they don't update.

The "submit" button under the password box is grey so I can't click it. I hit the back button, and then the existing character button to return to the log in screen; when I do this the submit button can be pressed, but it just says the attempt timed out.

Here are the things I've tried already (they failed obviously);

- Uninstalling Java then reinstalling it.
- Pressing the "west coast graphics server" button (don't know why, someone suggested it).
- Using a different browser.
- Connecting to a stronger internet signal (am using my phone hot spot otherwise).
- Altering my IP address.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. My Nod addiction is being deprived.

So sorry this is happening It seems like an internet connectivity issue to me. Particularly the problem with the attempts to connect to server timing out, even when the button is lit up. However, if your internet is working fine, maybe try using the http://66.135.42.153/index.htm link? Not very sure how to solve this.
