Arena leadership

So, I am planning a reroll on the toon that holds my arena team leadership and have some questions.

1 - I assume when rerolling it, the team will disband, is that so?

2 - Is there a way to pass the leadership (maybe leaving and joining again with the leader, same way as it work for a group) so I only lose 1/3rd of rating when joining back with the rerolled toon? in that case who of the other two will get it?

If you leave the team, leadership gets passed to the first person you invited.

In case I reroll being the leader, do I have to buy a team again with that toon?

Try having them invite you back, then they leave. You're only one left so you'll be leader, then you can invite them again. Rating loss, but no fee.

I was told decay due to inactivity wont get my team rating below 500.
If thats true, and I assume the individual rating would still decay, is inactivity a valid way to adjust my ind. ratind to my team's so I start getting full tokens again?

No. Neither decays when team rating goes below 500.
