yea, if you die from mob while flashing you die perm. doesnt matter if its from a daze or not

Your best bet was to just secretly ask a pk as I did once (not pk now). Because now all of Nod knows your going pk, and knows your unprepared for pro pk.

You may already know this by now, but; ANY death (excluding arena combat) while your face is flashing red will count as a 'permadeath'- so duels, clan combat, and PvE gone awry can all cause it. It doesn't matter if the damage that you inflicted upon yourself was the killing blow, you'll still die nonetheless.

How I survived as a PK:

1. Never start a fight that you can't win.
2. Always move.
3. Stay still sometimes.
4. Check if someone is grouped (and if faking afk) by using an alt to clan battle them. This has the benefit of weakening them as well.
5. Loot epic tools.
6. Never farm where mobs take more than 3 minutes to kill.
7. Always keep extra gates on your farming spot in case you forget to restock.
8. If someone forces you, always run. You should be the one choosing the playing field.
9. Farm close to town.
