Potion of Abundance Formula

I'm excited about the Potion of Abundance that has been released. Here is an easy formula for all you wondering how to make the most of it.

"How much do I need to open in chests" = (COST x 100)/POTION%

For example:

Your Potion of Abundance gives a 5% gold bonus from chests and you spent 8,000g for it.

"How much do I need to open in chests" = (COST x 100)/POTION%
"How much do I need to open in chests" = (8,000g x 100)/5
"How much do I need to open in chests" = 800,000g/5
"How much do I need to open in chests" = 160,000g

So, over the next hour of your RT or RTT usage (the life of your Potion of Abundance), you will need to open at least 160,000g in chests for the Potion of Abundance to pay for itself. Everything after that is extra gold in your coffers.

Another example:

Your Potion of Abundance gives 3.5% gold bonus from chests and you spent 2,000g for it.

"How much do I need to open in chests" = (COST x 100)/POTION%
"How much do I need to open in chests" = (2,000g x 100)/3.5
"How much do I need to open in chests" = (200,000g)/3.5
"How much do I need to open in chests" = 57,142g

Over the life of your Potion of Abundance, you will need to open at least 57,142g in chests for the potion to pay for itself. Then, it's all bonus gold for you until it runs out.

Based on my preliminary estimates, I can raise prices in anticipation of the stupid amount of gold people will make. Just need to hope they're bright enough to do math.
