If you're the one who gets the drop it's on you to do what's right. Freedom of choice and also freedom to be judged by your actions. Sounds to me like getting the beast drop would suck since you have to do the legwork to sell and your 2 non-killin buddies get ..1/3? scuse me? well w/e its just gold.. but if you want 1/3 you better help sell this stupid pet too! Oh, excuse me there was just living out a fantasy for a minute.

All i can say is from what I've read, all seems pretty fair.

From my point of view, Doomandgloom was giving a sort of "keep the seat warm" payment to brother and scrambles with the 1M payment to each (or promised) as to show his ligitimacy for giving both 1/3 the funds recieved from the traded pet deal. Scrambles probably misunderstood this as a 1M for the whole leg'dry loot event and over-reacted. That being said, I think you all should lay off of him first of all; I mean it's none of our business really. What took place in taht group, before or after the beast took place is not really anyone's concern except for the people in taht group. And to be brutally honest, if glitch wanted leg'dry loot to even be shared by the group, he'd make it "group soul-bound" or some wierd thing, instead of 1 player loot all.

Once Cuddlebug is sold and LoD whip is recieved I will be ending my time in Nod. it seems greed has replaced happyness. I do care what people think of me Ive worked hard to keep a good rep in Nod and Ive always been honest with who I am and how I am. Im sorry that this cant just be left alone and I can "get over it" as the saying goes. you people Im refering to in my rants should never be allowed to log onto a game with chat. Anyways thanks jeff for trying ill keep logging to check if bug has sold but untill then scrambles is SoL for gold if someone finds me someone to buy and ACTUALLY has the gold available for transaction then it will be the faster you guys get rid of me in Nod. sad to see this post... its very obvious that one cant go n kill the beast solo. and unlike a tc when it comes to the epic beast, the lg drop is wayyyyyyyyy more precious. We got a lg pet drop. even though there was no arrangement before we formed a grp, it was understood that we are all in it together, and whoever gets the drop will sell it and split the proceeds fairly, or the one who wants to keep the pet will pay off the others fairly. This is common sense and common ethics. Stop being toons in a virtual game and become humans with human morals.

I see people spaming civ/unciv as soon as beasts appear for beast groups. Wether it be epic or LG beasts anyone whos anyone, wants to be grouped for the beast just to have a chance at killing it.
Anyone that joins a random group with the assumption that if they infact kill the beast and get the rewards of a LG weapon or pet, will split it evenly amongst the group, is imo deluded. If you werent in such a hurry to go get in the que and die a cpl times to the beast, you would have a Team in place, people that you trust, to go beast hunting with. Why leave it to chance. you might or might not kill it, but on the off chance you do, least your team already has protocols in place for the distribution of funds or what have you, made from the sale or crafting of certain pieces.

There is only ever 1 item dropped, for 1 lucky person in the group! that person can choose to share, or not, its totally up to him/her. But to feel pressure from the nod community to "split" it when it is rightfully yours and yours alone, is complete and utter B/S

I think this whole situation has been blown wayyyyyyyy outta proportion. Dont quit Bruce, like i said earlier, there will be another scandal in a day or two, and everyone will eventually get over themselves long enough to find someone else to pick on. You got the pet drop, YOU decide what you wanna do with it. YOU decide dont let nod dictate to you what YOU must do. just my 5 cents worth.

Moral of the story is, Have a team in place for beast kills, a team you trust completely, and know exactly what you are getting yourself into before you even hunt a beast.

p.s. the grp we formed was amongst ppl i could totally trust. i agree with ry.. dont expect to form grp with random ppl after shouting in civil for lg grp n then expect to be treated failry.

Wow, certainly an enlightening forum... The reason people form random beast groups, is that the epic/lg beast is on at random times. I suppose everyone has their own personal alignment. Mine is neutral/good in this game. It's just unimaginable to me, that i would keep for myself an item that others helped me get. I really can't believe this is Glltch's attitude towards the situation.
But, you can and should do whatever you want, If people dislike you for it, and refuse to do business with you because of your decision , those are the consequences. At the end of the day, though, i'd really like to say that i didn't screw anyone over. That is certainly not an attitude that is widely held in this game, and everyone should keep that in mind when dealing with these kind of situations.

Ok im posting this due to comments and discussions since this ordeal started NO MATTER WHAT trolls will troll this till Nod dies. Ill live with that. Now some comments support paying scrambles more then the 1mill gold I did promise him and no more. I myself feel wierd about that. Now we all know im selling the bug for 39 mill... ok profit is pure nothing spent nothing lost I understand that... Now with my idea.... I pay Brother 26 mill and scrambles his 1 mill owed like I did with brother and reason being I pick brother is not only his kindness to everyone in nod regardless of who you are and his ongoing quest for the +39 stones now when he gets to +39 stones wouldnt that benefit the nod community more then giving someone that really had no entitlement to an item that wasnt fully agreed apon ( AGAIN agreement set in stone was""if item that was either craftable by us or dismantled and split 3 ways) we did say about pets but nothing was either confirmed or discussed further then saying hope we get the kill I wouldnt lie about that nor would I try to screw a friend at the time out of something he obviously wanted I offered it to him also and he said he cant afford with his current 2 mill gold )

I know my true friends in nod more so today then any other. I know ive pissed of people I never wished to upset and would love for them to just get over it such as ive been told.

what can i say this drama was fun and entertaining. i will say im sorry for lordguy and the regenerererererer. But this drama should of been dealt within the 3 of you and maybe glitchless could of added his two cents before coming here.

I was grouped with ryiah and the crazy tiger tank. (btw that was alot of funs ^.^) I wasnt expecting those two OP people to split if we had won. all i did was cause the beast to giggle anyway. Its 1's and 0's and not something to get upset about. Im sure within due time there will be more pets out there and easier to get like armors.

Personally you won the lottery, i didnt see any screenshots of an agreement so i would say keep the item buy some kittens to make some tasty tacos. just dont get puppies. We like puppies.

I am not taking sides because I am not in kindergarten but I think the profit from the look should be split 3 ways evenly and then you should never group together again and move on.

I am not going to be running anyone off nodiatis by spamming them with trade requests because I am above it and I see no need to pick on individuals. Your problem you guys settle it amongst each other.

So basically you want to go back on your word. You want to legitimize your decision to yourself by talking to glitch and hearing them say "well the decision is yours" which it certainly is.

You've spent the last couple of hours incessantly talking on /c about how unfair life is and how everyone hates you because Scrambles is greedy and wants something that is yours by right. About how Scrambles is only upset because he wanted the drop for himself because it would fit his build and how he's just jealous.

It seems quite clear that at least Scrambles believes there was an arrangement in place to split any drop evenly. This quite clearly explains his reaction to your 1m offer, if you believed you had a 1/3 share in something worth the two lg's you got in exchange for that pet (arguably the most valuable lg drop to date?) and was offered a whole cool million for it what would your reaction be?

If there really was no agreement then you don't owe anyone anything. Personally it sounds kinda weird though "Hey lets split the less valuable stuff evenly but if something reeeaaally valuable drops lets give it to whoever is the luckiest".

You've said in this thread that you would sell one of the two lg's you traded the drop for and give 1/3 to brother/scrambles each. Now instead you want to give 2/3 to brother and nothing but the original 1m to Scrambles, from your /c chat I take it that it's basically because he made you look bad and you don't want to give anything to this greedy bastard that isn't really entitled to anything. Way to improve your reputation by going back on your word.

Ok well scrambles logs on we chat his attitude is just as bad as it was yesturday I said you have a choice either 1m or 13m and he never chose I asked again after chatting longer and listening to him complaining about being low dps toon he deserved something from that drop... well I offered something he wont accept and I have the screeny proving it.
