Legendary Chest Gold Question

With the Legendary equipment that increases chest gold, do you have to have the armor on at the beginning of the fight, when the chest appears, or simply when clicking the chest to get the bonus? Could you have it on a second suit, and switch to that suit just for looting and still receive the chest bonus?

That's actually a good question.

My guess is gold is determined at the end of the fight, when the chest is clicked, but I didn't really test.

The amount of gold in the chest got multiplied by the percentage of the Goldwing armor equiped at the moment of oopening the chest.

That's actually good to know. Since suit-switching when the stats on the suits is similar is basically instant, having a "farming suit", at least as far as gold goes, is still somewhat viable. (ofc, it would take YEARS of farming to get the armor piece's cost back, but hey, big world, small profits)

This was a really good question. I never thought of it that way and now I'm considering buying a goldwing suit for looting....enchant it with dur/mst/pst so I don't lose anything switching back and forth.
