Well once upon a time i was a WM/Wizard class that had a bow build and used bows and 42 piercers. Went mad, went PK, dies and rerolled into an archer. So now i qualify as an full fledged archer that will go DK as second for auras and use some DD's as well.... hope it works out if it doesn't, there's always pk / re roll option again, but no matter what i will choose if this build doesn't work, my main class will be bow using class.

I am an necro but can use the 88 bowset with some decent damage along with dots and dd's ... problem remains energy/mana for me to keep hitting with the gems.

Till level 39 i had no equal in pvp or pve but that was some time ago and without a years worth of updates at least.

These days I prefer to roll as a caster, still can be a full hybrid tho.
archer/tank/caster with archery as main wep.

Barsoom is a lvl 67 Ranger/Druid - Archery/DoT (to take advantage of green bonuses on both classes). DW piercers are just for stat bonuses.

Beastkitty is a lvl 69 Archer/Gatherer (or whatever the resourcing-type is called) - straight-up archer. Gems are solely for healing/auras. DW slashers are just for stat bonuses.

a 78 bow can fire an 88 arrow with no penalty, it's weight is the bow's max weight for arrow.

Almost all epic bows can hold the next epic arrow without penalty. If anyone has any ideas of new skills that archers may obtained please write them here and if we find it is a good one one of us may put it in the idea & suggest place in forum. Jeff usually only makes skills that are fully thought out already.

Example. lvl 60 skill.
Quick Draw -Every point in this skill quickens your shots by .1% effectively making your shots 10% faster at 100.

It starts getting harder at lvl 40 or 50+
Remember to keep a good level dex. PM me in game if you would like me
