Flameshot

In some battles, usually boss fights, I notice the mob resisting me when I am not using attack gems. I can't say for certain, but I am guessing they are resisting my flameshot. Is this an intended feature for flameshot to be resisted like gems? If it is supposed to be gem-like, does the skill 'Dark Patience' further enhance its duration/effect?

*edit* Can green 'thorns' effect aura and blue 'reflect' effect aura be resisted? If they can, that would be another source of resistance.

The aura is considered beneficial and thus cannot be resisted.

Flameshot is not considered a gem nor colored. Because it is not a gem effect it is not enhanced by Dark Patience. Because it is not a colored gem effect it is not be resisted by any players, however, creatures that are higher level than you have innate resists to all spell effects and that is what you're noticing.
