So just out of curiousity....

when my alt got an epic drop in rapids, I hit "Exit" on his char and waited til looting was over to see if (fingers crossed) the loot would come to me. Instead, he got a message saying "Use of that item requires the virtues of blah blah neither of which you have"....and the epic disappears.

Intended?

I mean, I was gonna trash it anyway since he's never getting virts, but I was still surprised that it vanished.

Sounds l ike since your alt didn't have virts he couldn't "give" it away..

That's what I figured, but there was a fix recently to stop people 'giving away' trophies that they shouldn't be able to give away, was just wondering if Glitch inadvertently coded that epics be destroyed if this is tried or whether it's deliberately that way. No loss to me either way, just curious.

He said the fix would affect trophies, but that it wouldn't work if you tried it with epics....so i think this is intended

i know there was a fix so you couldnt loot epics from an alts drop if they didnt have virts, cause i reported it.

but i didnt think that the epic would be destroyed cause of it. after all, even if the alt has exited, and you try to loot it, you should still be able to loot it with said alt when your main is told NO YOU CANT HAVE IT.

That was how I read Glitch's post too Smash, though I suppose it could also have meant this. I assumed it would go to my alt if the transfer failed. Won't try that again. :P

If you hit exit on a character he will not autoloot so the item has no valid place to go when the other character autoloots and thus disappears. It is working as intended.
