no fish and phantom trophy decay

Yesterday I caught a fish. I know this because I gained experience from it. Only problem is that it was not there (at first thought it was lag as sometimes happens) and did not appear when I clicked to place in inventory.

I thought hmmmmm. and forgot about it.

This morning I logged in and was informed of 25 trophy decay. This would be 100% trophy decay. The real problem is that I am 99% sure that I had no trophies.

You forgot you had the trophies and logged out.

If you pay attention to the log out screen, it will tell you whether or not you have trophies in your inventory.

I we assume I did have trophies (which I remember checking), the 100% decay is also very strange.

The only reason that I am reporting any of this is the close temporal proximity of the events. All within several hours.

What about the fish?... has anyone had anything like that before?

I have cought fish that there were no icons for (lag). I have placed these fish in inventory and still no icon (rare), but I could tell that there was something there when I scrolled across it. I have always eventually had a fish show up, until now.
