dont know if anyone has ever played a game called The Realm
but its a great oldschool, game and kinda reminds me of this....anyways i have always loved their GUI, and thought maybe it would do some good to show a picture, doesnt mean it has to be used...but something like it would make life ALOT easier

well here it is....you can see the tabs for talking in group, friends and all that....i dont really care about the spells and all that, i think what we have now for that is fine, as is the inv

anyways, let me know what yall think...i know its prob a bit much

the chat system looks advanced in the picture

well it can be dumbed down some,
like instead of having 5tabs just have something like
General(which would be all chat, like shout)
Group(which is group)
Tells ( which is tells duh)

i think this game needs atleast group and General, so stupid people like me dont keep forgetting to put /g infront of what i want to tell my group

I believe there might be a default chat option at some point, so that you can choose which you want active at a time.

I just posted a thread here with some initial screen layout/GUI design ideas.

I started it as a new thread because I hope to produce many iterations of the suggestions there as it evolves.
