"Collection" skill Question.

Okay so my collection skill is level 33. My foraging is level 52.I use foraging to train collection. My question is: Since I get exp equal to the forage level to my collection experience per berry I find,am I also correct in assuming that the collection lets me find berries just as though I was foraging?

E.g. I'm looking for high tier berries,would collection lv 33 be same as foraging 52 in terms of what I find?

The reason I ask,is because I've been finding rather low tier berries only..
I'm in a lv 55 region,and with foraging normally I find tier 10+ frequently,now,while training collection,I seem to find lower tiers and less higher.Rarily Tier 13 or higher.

I'm sure it's nothing more than my imagination running wild,however having Jeff comfirm this would be appreciated. (or anyone with a good link to previous board if such existed).

I think this belongs in the bug reports section.

Also, I think I've noticed same thing with collection (using gardening, resulting in lower tier veggies then expected). Again, I could be imagining things like faith.

I'm going to test my gardening/collection veggy results..though from what I'm seeing now..it looks like it's working the right way actually..

farming in obby, i read this, took active off collection, did woodcutting, got a tier 6, b4 that ive only had 1 tier 5, not in ob swamp, only 2 tier 5's total. yes that sentence had a lot of commas.

With collection:

All under tier 10....then,at end of day,bam tier 18 wdf? 2 tiers higher than my normal lol


with foraging :
Even amounts in my opinion of all tiers under 16

It doesn't matter if you are leveling collection, it uses your foraging skill to determine what tier of berries you acquire.
