Min and Max damage...

Default Min and Max damage...

Well... I see that in the description of some classes like Archer vs Ranger, which do +15% max range dmg, and +24% min damage respectively. But most of the weapon's min damage is sooo low that even +24% won't do much... eg. Putrifite Recurve Bow, 13-111 damage, in a ranger's hand it's only like 16-111, while in an archer's hand it can be like 13-137 damage... Then what's the point of those class that +% to min damage?

Or do I miss something? would someone enlighten me? Thanks

Well, the bonus doesnt help much, but alittle is better then nothing. I prefer to go with more minimum damage because you dont always get 100% max damage. So i would try to do the most i could and keep my minimum damage high.

Max damage is the most beneficial, unless your goal is to build a character which only hits for minimum damage. As long as you don't severely screw something up with your build, you won't be hitting anywhere near your min damage.

True, you generally dont hit for minimum damage, but when you do, i like my minimum damage to be higher.

If the minimum damage bonus applies to melee weapons, too, it would be beneficial for an archer/ranger that also has a piercer equipped.
