why not make to so there is a stance which makes it more likely a play will be targeted. so lets say when grouped i can set player stances if im the group leader, so i set one player front stance(giving them 80% chance of being attacked) another mid stance(a 50%) then the third (30%)

or there could be class inate stances giving lets say defender a 80% change of being attacked apossed to a preist having a 20% chance of being attacked when grouped and entering battle simultaneously.

There must be a sacrifice for obtaining or losing agro. Gem spots/draws mana/energy will be the sacrifice.

Well what about if in the agressive agro drawing stance you take and deal 10% more damage or something? this would mean the other 2 members of the team would have to concentrate on healing the agro receiving one that much more, make the stance only changeable out side of combat to prevent people abusing it to take agro then swap back to lose the damage penalty

i like that, it would definitly make players want to group with lets say a preist for the bonus to healing they would do while the one char is taking more damage the healer is balancing that out.

well it still possible to die in battle if you challange to hard a boss or enter a zone before your able to fight there for instance take halcyon river lvl 19 to enter but no way a lvl 19 can survive there at least not soloing maybe if it was in group with stronger players

yeah would really add to the dynamics of the game bringing preists etc into play more
