Default The End of Exploitative Trophy Farming

Players using a tactic whereby they would have a high level character begin combat with a creature and then have a low level character join combat at the very end of the fight to receive full trophy loot and experience will find this is no longer possible. If a player joins combat with a creature that is already mostly dead (<50% health) then they will end up only receiving loot and experience as if they were out of rested time. This had been implemented in the previous patch, however, it was not completely working since if they player had acceleration on it would still provide triple trophies. Players would circumvent the 60 seconds after combat rule by bouncing back and forth between two squares where they had two high level characters doing this so that there was little or no downtime.

To be fair to people who may stumble into combat late accidentally and with their accel turned on - those people will only lose rested time at a normal, non-accel rate during the fight since their reward will not have accel bonuses.

If none of this makes sense to you don't worry. Just know that some of the people at the top of the lists will be easier to catch now that we're ending an unfair practice.
