New Caster Skill
Sleight of Hand has been added to Death Magic. This is an extremely powerful skill for anyone using a staff since it allows you (even without putting any points into it) start combat with whatever gem is in your first pouch slot already in play. Currently there is a bug that allows you to use this spell even while suffering the encumberance penalty but that will be fixed at a later date. In addition to that, every point you put into it increases the chance of having a double effect whenever you use a gem. Note this only affects gems that you actually click to use, not auras and continual effect type gems.
Choose this gem wisely. Some good ideas for those who want to deal damage with gems is to have this gem be a flare up type that enhances the damage of all your direct damage gems. Or you could choose a direct damage gem that can be cast repeatedly for assured damage.
