i think you need to change the time it takes to do these.

hunting takes a few seconds
Mining takes a few seconds
Wood Axe takes a few seconds

Gardening can take up to 20 or more seconds. any chance of removing the delay when picking a square and increase the delay slightly when you find a pair.

Foraging can be nearly as long since the plant is invisible. how about making the plant visible but making the foraging a bit longer to find one.

Some resources take far longer to gather than others. While it may seem annoying to people who are trying to gather multiple types of resources it is on purpose to appeal to different types of gatherers, some who prefer shorter games grindier methods and others who prefer slower methods. The resources gathered from the slower methods will likely sell for higher via auction to balance out the extra time spent. Don't expect that natural balance to occur during the beta, however.
