Crafting window

out and about in the field say i want to skin the carcasses i've found i have to open up the inventory window , use tool then it goes to a crafting window and after the crafting is completed it goes to back to the traveling window, can you make it so it will go back to the inventory window instead please to make it a little lets tedious when manipulating resources with tools.
