Pilgrimage and First Time Boss Kill Loot

Question Pilgrimage and First Time Boss Kill Loot
Not my brightest moment, but I went with a friend to kill a boss with Technoviking while he [Technoviking] was on pilgrimage. I thought I had killed it once before so wouldn't miss out on any loots. Turns out it was the first time I killed it, and pilgrimage blocked the drop. My question is: Will it drop loot the first time I kill it outside pilgrimage or did I just miss out? Either way is fine. Just would like to know.

Going to patch it so this is not an issue, and that you get one-time boss loot even while on pilgrimage.

Gave him 100k gold to compensate for the potential store sell of the item. It wasn't a glitch, it was how pilgrimage worked, but there's no harm in making it less of a trap.

Don't understand why compensations are in order tbh as this all has been common knowledge for years and years. Patching it out is still nice

It wasn't necessary, and he didn't ask for it. Just being nice since he took the time to write the report, which resulted in an easy fix (pending patch) that could prevent others from losing loot unnecessarily in the future.
