Default Repeated Timeouts since last Patch

Did I do it wrong or do all the timeouts make sense now?

Does anyone have feed back about the readings?

The time outs have gotten a little fewer and the delay in pics and sound of Nod have ebbed closer to normal, but I still have some issue.

What other info do you need to help diagnose this glitch?

Sorry for late response. The latest client currently refetches data files at a higher frequency than before , once per week. This is good for undetectable corrupt images, but it's not good for people with less than stellar connections to the server. Since we've had some complaints about this (slow image loading) we're going to switch back to a less frequent refetch. It won't be worth trying to diagnose any potential connection issues related to timeouts/slow image loading until this is done.

Thank you for responding.

Is the lag only on the downloadable client or do you have it when playing via the website as well?

Mmkay:

In the browser (chrome based), I was able to have six toons open with no timeouts. Whereas for the last couple of weeks or so, with client, I could barely have three open before chain timeouts would happen.

Browser seems to be in slo-mo, but everything happens. Only slight delay for images to load, sounds are in sync, all chatters have faces and the map loads before I start moving instead of after I've crossed. Please note my laptop is generally slo-mo like anyway.

I even tried arena again - client was so backwards that the sounds for arena were almost 20 sec delay, some motions too. The slo-mo in the browser was not conducive to proper arena effort, but at least all the sounds and images were contained to during the match.

So, with my nub eyes, the client does seem to be a culprit. I can try to record video, of each, this weekend if you reeeeeaaalllly want me to, Glitch.

If you're having lag on browser, we can't blame the client.

There seems to be a connection issue affecting some regions, but not any where we have testable connections. If you are still having lag issues via browser, please do this:
http://forums.nodiatis.com/forums/sh...d.php_p=201415

This is what Tip did, however, Tip's network is not allowing any usable information from the reports for whatever reason.

We can confirm that some of the recent timeouts have come from problems arising with one of our bandwidth providers. Three such timeouts affecting all or most of the people connecting to our server occured Aug 17 and 18 (in the am), but none have been detected since then. We do not have confirmation that the problem has been completely resolved, but the culprit has at least been identified is charged with fixing the issue.

My ping has been about 4-8x's worse than normal the past few days. Today it seems to have been cleared up.

I run client and browser at the same time. Client will occasionally spike to 200-500 ms (from the usual 20-40). I could run the wimMTR test and email if needed but my issues are on client, not browser.

Running 3.207, windows 10, 16 gigs of ram. What other info is needed to help diagnose this?

btw can we be able to see ping on browser so we can compare with client?

Lag is now equally unplayable on browser and client. I hope the network maintenance will fix this.

You managed to get a 2239ms ping spike to your own router. You've got a problem with your computer or your router.
