bonus for maxing skill trees

Default bonus for maxing skill trees

there isn't much reason to max skill trees since at least 1 skill normally won't help you. some even have epic skills.

a nice bonus would be like say if you max all weaponry skills your melee attacks will do 5% more damage. maxing life magic 5% bonus to heals. maxing resourcefulness gives +1 tier to resourcing etc.

if new skill comes out bonus will stop until they max new skill

good idea, and as for the bonus, well you would lose it if another skill came along, that would be the incentive to level the new skill. This could apply to all the skill trees in someway.

Won't be funny when bonus lost on added skill. Every skill adding will trigger at least some cries.

maybe a better way would be to add bonus depending on the number of skills maxed? that way you wont cry when a new skill is added.

for example:
5 weaponry skills maxed adds 1% melee damage
10 weaponry skills maxed adds 2% melee damage, etc ....

same for each skill tree

both sound cool. only problem i see brackets with epic skills in them, unless epic skills were considered a set of their own.

Good idea. Bonus could apply after maxing normal skills. Maxing epic skills would yeld additional bonus.

It takes lots of rrt and dedication to max lets say all resourcing skills. Hard work should always be rewarded.

Also a small perk for reaching all accomplishements would be nice .

Sounds cool but it would be a pain in the ass to get all three weapon classes (slashing, piercing, crushing) to 140 and then get all support skills in weaponry (puncture, smash, pierce spec, crush spec etc) if you are a slasher only.

I think that's kind of the point... There's currently no reason for most of us (outside of getting that xp) for maxing a majority of skills as they don't apply to your character. Would be nice to have an incentive to max certain skill trees. I think it's a good idea, support.

I support this, but do it as tiers in the skills. So if you max all level 0 skills in that section, you get something, Then same for 20, then 40, so on so forth.

Would also mean that people can tier it, cause to some, getting extra bonus in 1 stat isn't worth as much as getting it elsewhere. That way they can work on different ones to get the different bonuses, which then plays into how people level stats as to what they get in what order.
