Default Solo Queue Tweaks

In order to prevent AFK queueing we have done the following:
  • Players who do not do anything during an arena fight will not receive any tokens or any progress toward their double drop bonus. Dying immediately is OK so long as you at least tried to do something.

In order to limit the usage of queueing as a means of purposefully interrupting fights, we have done the following:
  • You can no longer queue while in combat.
  • You can no longer move within zones that have creatures near your level while queued.
This should not prevent legitimate farming or town walking, but it should prevent high level zone creeping and epic quest fight interruption. You can still fight creatures in the same square as you while in the queue and you can still town walk, provided you are town walking with only grey creatures blocking your way.


In order that there are a similar amount of draws as there would have been had we left the PvP damage multiplier the same as before, we have done the following:
  • Increased the speed at which the PvP damage multiplier grows so that at the end of the fight it will be at a similar multiplier as it would have been at the end of the old 10 minute fights. It still begins at 1 minute into the fight now.


We are currently testing combining civil/uncivil chat between both servers. Private messaging between servers is not supported.
