Maalin Mesmerize Gems?

I do not think that the rank 6 mez gem should cost 30,000 gold, use 50 energy and mana and mesermize for 6 seconds while the rank 3 mez gem costs 50,000 gold, uses 240 mana and energy and also mesmerizes for six seconds.
One thing that throws them off is the fact they BOTH take blue magic 25 and they are BOTH in the same town. Anything about this off or am I late to the party?

Gotcha, well honestly I think the gem level should at least be changed because what difference would it make to a boss if its a level 25 or higher gem?
