Same exp on 2 diff skill lvls

I noticed when i was chopping wood i got so low exp. But didnt think more but when i got Foragin up it was way less in lvls and got same exp.

Woodcutting at lvl 84 Exp 168,140
Foragin at lvl 58 Exp 168,140

unfortunately crafting skills do yield less experience than artistry skills. Always wondered why for example woods> planks uses 3 wood to make 1 plank, yet foraging that requires 2 plants to make 1 dye gets more experience. Would be nice if crafting gave more, since (in the case of woodcutting) it uses more base materials to make 1.

you also need to take into account foraging is not 100% successful, while woodcutting is, unless you really cant hit that wood

Its not about the crafting skills, but it is a really big difference in exp when u compare the skills. i thought all resource skills had same exp gain or is it supposed to be this big difference?

Each resource game gives an amount of xp based on the time it usually takes to complete (e.g. gardening gives more xp than foraging).
Also, trapping gives a huge xp per game because the number of times you can do it daily is limited by the number of traps.
