Incantation rune not functioning properly upon rune slot switch

Default Incantation rune not functioning properly upon rune slot switch

If using the rune of incantation in a secondary rune set (which is not currently in use), and select it as your PvP set, when you enter a subsequent PvP fight such as a duel or arena fight; the perk of an extra few starting gems is not applied.

I've tested this on two separate accounts now, using both a r3 and r4 version of the rune. Both runes should be giving a minimum of 1 extra gem at the beginning of combat, but neither seem to apply the bonus when the rune slot is switched.

It's not a major bug, but when you're strapped for runes to use, it saddens me not to get my extra starting gem.

It still doesn't appear to be working. I tried a duel using both my nornal suit and staff suit to see if that made a difference, but it still appears that upon rune slot switch the incantation rune is not functioning.

Yeah, sorry about that. We delayed the patch until after the arena season is through.

It was delayed due to objections made by people in your camp. Objections that we deemed reasonable, since they did not want any further change to the arena so close to the end.

I said nothing about not fixing a problem. What I wanted was to fix the last problem created.

It seems tho, that you guys going over stuff and getting ready to fix the issue might have done something, b/c after last reset, the damage was fine. Something was really wonky last night though, so thanks for w/e ninja patch behind the scenes stuff went on.

Absolutely no patches or changes to game code occurred last night. Thorin was the one who suggested the delay to the patch, and again, we thought it was a good idea.

Well, the later fixes don't bother us. I just wanted to make sure the damage was working, which it wasnt last night. So, whatever actually happened, it's all good now. Thanks!

I didn't suggest it actually as others that were on last night could see my rage in civil. Not to mention we had a lil PM chat following it, I just learn over the last SEVERAL years that it is what it is with you, just take the punch and roll with it... Which is why I said I understand why you will not be fixing the mistake that was made in your coding while fixing the other mistake that already existed. I have the screen shots of the conversation incase you were account sharing that night and are unaware of what was said.
