Default New skill Groupie

Available to all lvls .
Epic stat skill .

Grants u up to .2% more treasure per lvl for farming as a group in same square based upon mobs lvl above highest group members lvl
to incourage group play as this is a mmo :P
I am really feeling nod is to solo based lately . Think a skill like this has potential to have people helping each other out more ir all get somin to gain. Added in highest group member lvl to rule out potential pl explotoition

I have an idea.

(1)

Change mc and bgt so that trophy and gold drops are proportional to mob/boss hit point total / durability.

Here is the reasoning:

Take any player.
Lets say that this player has dps = x.
Since dps = x everywhere that this player farms, fight length depends on hitpoint total / durability.
Hence, if drops depend on the hitpoints of the mob/boss, then drops will always be fair.

(2)

Make it so that being in a group no longer penalizes drops. Even in a group fight, a player gets just as much loot as said player would get fighting solo. With the stacking feature, this should not be a problem (up to 3 pages of drops are possible).

This should encourage grouping because the player would get just as many trophies/gold per fight as they would fighting solo. Being in a group will increase dps and fights will be faster. Hence, the hourly loot drop rate for being in a group will actually be higher.

EDIT:

I am ok with how the system works right now.
I am fine with the number/amount of trophies/gold that I get farming solo in areas from goblin swamp to pit of eternity. And I prefer playing solo anyways - not much of a group player.

But if a change needs to or is going to be made, then this is my 2 cents.

i like the idea...i dislike the epic part and maybe it should be a learning skill instead of a stat skill

Not sure that any of these suggestions are the answer to encouraging grouping, but I would agree that more needs to be done to benefit players who hunt together. As of right now, outside of completing quests (which there are only so many of) there is no REAL bonus, if anything it is typically a penalty to the player in the group who can deal the highest amount of damage.

I would like to see farming as a group become a larger part of the game because it would encourage socializing, clans, and relationships between players which strengthen the community and make the game a lot more fun.

Suggestion:
An adventuring skill much like Group Acumen (from learning) that increases likelihood of loot while hunting in the same zone. I have no idea how the penalties for group killing currently affect loot distribution but the penalty seems MASSIVE. If I solo a mob I will get 7 or 8 trophies, if I group with an approximately equal level player I typically get 1 to 3. Seeing as how our DPS has not increased on that scale, it seems like too steep of a penalty.
