chat commands /s and /u

well...
it used to appear /s when u press enter to chat...I joined uncivil channels too and /u started to appear. And now the funny part - when I left uncivil instead of switching back to /s upon enter press - a blank command line appears...
tried to delete temp files, reload applet etc etc...
It just wont roll back...

oh yeh,
if I rejoin uncivil it starts show /u again...but still blank command line when only in civil channel
