Chat error (Not a big deal, but it is there)

So far Ive checked this as far as I can imagine it needs to be checked. And here is what Ive come up with:

You can check both civil and uncivil at the same time, you will see both. When you message it defaults to uncivil and only uncivil can see it. Ive tried every combination of switching from civil to uncivil, back to civil from uncivil, and both. And sometimes I dont believe either channel can see the messages, but Im unsure what triggers this 'limbo' for your shouts. Also at the start of logging in it apears you are logged into both. And on some rare occasions you will post on both, but it has only happened for me just 1 time out of 20 tries.

Hope this helps, though Im not sure how damaging it can be, but it may cause error in those thinking they are on uncivil may actually wind up saying something 'unsavory' on civil, and it is against the rules there to say some things....

Also, when you go to enter a message you now have to type /s yourself, but you can still use the Shift-Enter for auto group talk. This is happening for me, is this happening to anyone else?


It only happens with the blank chat if you are in civil only. I already did the log in log out trick, no dice. If you are in uncivil it works fine, bringing up the /u, and if you are in both channels it does the /u..

Its intended to be that way if you want to chat in civil you simply use the correct /c command this is assuming you want to see both civil and uncivil chats, the reason for the default to uncivil is because if you end up doing something stupid in civil then claim it was because you had both chats selected Jeff will automatically know you are a lying moron and ban you, rest assured its intended to work exactly as it is.

ok I finally did have a similar prob, instead of being able to talk in the uncivil chat room I can only talk in the civil chat room
