I right-click to inspect someone and another window pops up in the way with scroll options.

Anyone else get this?

pretty sure it would be due to a recent update or add-on with chrome....may be wrong

try Firefox or uninstall and reinstall chrome for the fastest resolution unless you happen to know if something updated or was installed recently and are able to disable it

There will be an option in the browser to turn off those context menus.

I cant find an option to shut the context menu off.

It doesn't seem to do it all the time it's intermittent, if I repeatedly right-click I can eventually manage to auction items.

I'm pretty sure we had a guide for fixing this in a thread long ago. If anyone can find the thread I'll give them a TC.

The thread is entitled "Google Chrome users plz help" under Player Guides and Help, by RogueTiger, on February 14, 2011. Is that the same thread? I cannot post links because I have not made the minimum 25 posts to do so. If it helps, the ending number code on the link is 10674.

No, it would be one where we instruct you how to disable the right click context menu.

Starting to think the thread doesn't exist. Closest thing I found was how to make IE9/FF4 a bit more stable.
( I coulda really used that TC too x: )

unable to locate a scroll bar context that is default in any version of chrome.
sounds like an extension still to me because i am unable to reproduce it with the default chrome installation and unable to find the extension which is causing it.

1. uninstall and reinstall chrome

or

2. open chrome----> alt+f------> under tools there should be an 'extension'----> try disabling them all ( i doubt it would have a negative impact. and you can do one at a time to determine which it would actually be) I saw one stupid convenience one for chrome called tejji

i still feel the quickest resolution is using FF or just reinstalling

or wait...are you doing the same as the person prior did

mac with a separate windows partition?

if so it's the one button mouse settings with mac that is essentially causing the issue and you need to find a different version of bootcamp to use windows or actually setup a proper partition yourself...for some reason despite having a parallel which seems to be independent that is not the case.

use opera or ff if this is the case....chrome is going to be continuous struggle....or just take the time to setup your mac to run nod

This might help. I remember the thread Glitchless is talking about though and I'm looking for it still.

ty daer for posting a link that was already posted by moirathea and sanlucifer

and....glitch said it wasn't the one.

i'm not sure what roguetiger did to resolve the issue when he had it the issue but it seems to have nothing to do with chrome

I don't think the thread exists. There's a way to keep right click context menus from appearing in java apps (the bad ones, not the Nodiatis ones) in Firefox and it was necessary to do it for some ass-backwards version of it. Some Chrome version or add-on appears to be causing the same issue - you'll need to find the option hidden deep in there somewhere or just switch to single mouse button mode and play like a mac person.
