Default Training Ground

This will be somewhat long so if you want the cliff-note version see it end.

What is it?
It is a new zone/area that is designated specifically for testing out builds, weapons, gems and practicing teamwork with arena mates

How do you get there?
You get there by going to the town seer and there will be an option to go to the 'Training Ground'.

Whats the point of it?
Once you go to the zone you will immediately start battle as if it were arena, with a countdown. Once it hits zero you will be fighting a dummy with infinite health and non attacking. Once you have had enough you click an option that will end the battle. When it is over there will be a screen that pops up that will list the following stats:

Under the melee tab
Hits
Misses
Crits
Max Crit
Min Crit
Bloodlets
Double hits
Poisonbolts
Max non crit
Min non crit
Anything else i missed?

Under Archery tab
Hits
Misses
Crits
Max Crit
Min Crit
Trishots
Flameshots
Blind Shots
Poison Shots
Broadhead shots
Arrowrains (if more than 1 dummy available)

Under the magic Tab
Hits
Misses
Crits
Max Crit
Min Crit
Double Casts
Gift of light triggers
Outbreaks
Yellow Snow
Ruptures
Burning Soul
Deathflow
Graveyard
Intoxicate

Under the Beastmaster Tab
Growls
Fire and Ice triggers
Intimidates
Max pet crit
Min pet crit
Pet crits
Non crits

Under the General Tab
Total damage done
Total crit damage
Total non Crit damage
Total Melee damage
Total Bow damage
Total Magic damage
Total pet damage

Toggled Features
1. By default the battle will time out after 5min this can be changed to unlimited and you choose to end at your will.
2. Allowing the dummy to attack at 4 different levels
very easy- damage is equivalent to fighting a -5 mob
easy- damage is equivalent to fighting a mob equal to your level
medium- damage is equivalent to fighting a +5 mob
hard-damage is equivalent to fighting a +10 mob
insane- damage is equivalent to fighting a +20 mob
3. If you toggle the #2 then this will open up another tab and allow you to see the following:
Damage taken
Damage Parried
Damage Healed
Damage Prevented


Cliff-notes Version

This will allow you to fight a dummy and see battle statistics after

Support. This is a great idea; and one I know I'd use often. I'm sure it could be tweaked, but I'd love to see the gist of this idea incorporated.

i like it.

it would allow people to test in a static environment to see their damages and other procs occuring, and with enough testing could actually allow for the identification of bugs that would otherwise have been hard/impossible to see.

i would like to chose an infinite battle, with the dummy not attacking me, and fight him while i go to bed or something, so that when i get up, i can end it, and find the stats for that fight, so that i can see everything over a long period of time to better see if the %s are right.

Support, but I'd want the dummy to attack based upon your level, i.e. you're lv 85, they attack at a mob level 85. So defensive stats are taken into acct. too.

yep, and if the attack you can have it set at -5, 0, +5, +10, and +20 all based off of your leve

Another good idea, but I'm still waiting on mention of an expansion whether it be a cap raise or something similar. All these little patches are merely band-aids to keep players happy for a few days at a time. This game is far from "finished" and I would assume with the new advertising there must be something in store, unless this is merely a cash cow for "Dawn"
