Hi,

My Macbook is 2 weeks old and is having problems playing Nodiatis. The issue is that I get an applet notice. Apparently it is unable to free additional memory. I don't understand what the problem would be since my computer is loaded with memory. What am I missing? Any pointers would be helpful. Thanks!

Ok, I still have to check and see if there are updates needed from Java for a newer version, which is guess is possible on a brand new computer. I'll check that tonight. In the meantime here is the information that Tai'Lauranna suggested I provide.

1. OS.– Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard
2. Browser. - Safari 3. Nodiatis Client Version.) – I think it was v1.180 (I'm on a different computer right now)
4. Java Vendor and Version. Example: Sun Microsystems Inc. 1.6.0._09 (found in the left chat box when you first log on in Nodiatis) - version 12.3.0
5. Your amount of RAM.– 2GB
6. How many clients are you running at once? 1
7. If you are disconnecting is it due to a lock up or do you get the "Attempting to re-establish connectivity to server... Timeout in 49 seconds..." messages? – I’ll get messages like “packet corrupted”or “Applet unable to free necessary memory… “

Default My Nod Screen since yesterday

It gets worse if i mouse over it. I can log but the game looks the same way. This happens on 3 different browsers.

I'm trying to work it out myself before i give more details. Current browsers it affects are IE, Safari, and Firefox. Java i've tried from 1.5 to current. removed each time for verification. Flash removed and updated, shockwave same. I'll give more details as i get them.......

Edit:
OS. Example: Windows XP latest revision all patches.
Browser: IE 7, Firefox, IE 8 beta, Safari
Nodiatis Client Version. Example: v1.186
Java Vendor and Version. Example: Sun Microsystems Inc. (build 1.6.0_16-b01)
Your amount of RAM. Example 1GB
How many clients are you running at once? 1

What you were doing at the time you had the problem.
Answer: I just loaded the game nothing else.

The following information is optional but helpful:
The bottom 50 lines or so from your java console. (found by right clicking your java task tray icon and clicking "Open [version] Console") ALSO: when you open the console before you copy the bottom data hit 't' and then 'm' on your keyboard with the console open to get additional important info listed.

Update: Nodiatis is not compatible is any NVidia 8400 GS driver beyond the 3/17/09 release. So if your using an NVidia video card you'll eventually have to buy a new one :S.

Had to roll back the drive that far just to get nod to work :S

There is no "file" to hack. Nodiatis is a browser based game.

If you are sure you aren't typing it in wrong, and you think the password is different, go to the email that you registered and see if you recieved a "changed password" notification.

Otherwise, the only way someone got your password, is if:
1. You told someone
2. Someone watched you log on
3. A key logger has been installed on your computer
4. You used a proxy server that keylogged

Check the email you were sent when you registered, and get back to us.

Default attempt timed out?

Windows XP
Browser: IE 8
nodiatis client is v1.188
java plug-in 1.6.0_11
Your amount of RAM 512MB
How many clients are you running at once? 1 sometimes 2

After loading up nod and I click on existing character and than try to log in it tells me attempt times out plz try again. At the bottom where the announcements are located it takes about 2 minutes before they appear. Than I try and log in when it does appear and this is when I get the message. This all occured after I did a reformat on my computer the game did not have any problems what so ever before just after that. I have uninstalled java many times and reinstalled and now able to get to this point. I can bring in a laptop from work and login here just find so there is not a corrupt .jar file with my isp. I have no idea how to check if I have a corrupt .jar file in my cpu. I have tried everything i know to get this to work and am wondering if you have any other idea. Also if I download the most up-to-date java it wont even load up the game at all it will start on the load bar at 1 and wont go at all so I have left it at this version.

my problem is exactly the same as Broma, I can't log in. The "submit" button stays gray even when I turn off the SSL encryption.

my information is the same too. same OS, browser, NOD and Java versions and Ram.

i know this is a bad time to look at this problem with the major update and stuff. yet it us a very important time for us, NOD players, too.

thanks a lot.

For those who CANNOT log in due to graphical reasons, or greyed out submit buttons:

Use a secure connection to Nod, i.e https:// instead of the conventional http://

Use a browser other than firefox. Firefox doesn't like accepting secure connections to a normally unsecure site, like Nod. Something about certificates.
