Problems with locking up game and java
Hi, this is my first time posting. I have read the guidelines and here is the info/problem.
OS- Windows xp pro
browser- IE7 7.0.5730.11
Nodiatis cient version- latest as of now, cannot access game at the moment.
Ram -2gb
Clients- 1 (i assume you mean number of games running?)
Java version- Java Plug-in 1.6.0_12
Using JRE version 1.6.0_12 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM
Problem- Firstly my internet connection seemed very slow, when playing the game for the first 20-30 minutes I had no picture when fighting and going to town. This gradually resolved itself and after a while the pictures appeared. Then the game froze when i tried to open the inventory while fighting. I restarted but the game then said i didn't have java installed. I tried again and was able to log in normally. Once again i clicked the inventory button and the game locked. Then i uninstalled java and reinstalled from the java website. Entered the game once again (very slow almost 7min to login from opening webpage initially) played, click inventory, lockedup.Now it says again that java is not installed. But after waiting about 5 minutes it goes to the login screen but is sooo slow!
The problem just started happening today, yesterday i played the game for about 8 hours with no problems.

Do a google search for house call and scan your computer. It sounds like something else is eating up your computer's ability to process things.

The only other thing I can think of is that your internet connection was acting up at the time. If you get black images from the get-go then you're having trouble loading the data. The same could be said for a very slow startup if you just aren't able to download the client .jar in the beginning.

v1.148 will only access the west coast graphics server if you check the box. This will fix the problem some people were having with the game not working due to security access issues. Clear your temporary internet files or cache and restart your web browser to make sure you're using the new client if you're still having problems.

OS: Windows XP Service Pack 3, up to date patches

Essentially the problem is this... The moss harvester will continuously pop it's static location. Originally I thought it was because I still had mountaineering boots and also had the mountain shoes. (why I never sold the boots is another matter)
The problem was originally discovered when in group with Relic and Aphoomzam, heading into the third level of the moss dungeon.
I have a screen shot of the encounter saying "you or someone in your group needs this boss kill or something he drops..." All in group have killed the boss.
Aphoom and I were at the bosses location, Relic was elsewhere in the world.
Aphoom and I could recreate this encounter every time.
At the time of this post, I got into a group with Morrodin, who is lvl 8, to use as a control sample. The boss popped normally as expected.
Then I got back into group with Relic, who is far beyond the second level of the moss dungeon, and would not have the climbing shoes in his inventory.
I was again able to encounter the moss harvester at the static location.
I suspect that if one person in group does not have the climbing shoes in their inventory, or has a higher level of travel gear, then the mob can be encountered.
Essentially I do not think the script that looks for "climbing shoes", also looks for higher levels of gear, such as "dragons will"..etc.
So based upon my experiments, this boss will pop everytime, even if all members have killed him already, if you are grouped with a higher level player that has a higher level travel gear.
This is more along the lines of a bug. I do not think this could be exploited for anything, but not 100% sure on it.
Once everyone in the group has killed the boss, and has climbing shoes or higher travel gear, shouldn't the boss stop becoming a static encounter?
I hope that is enough explaination. I have screen shot photos of my research, let me know if you would like them, or if you have any further questions.

after death of the mob the new rare gem aura of sloth causes error msges because the gemm refreshes its self on a dead target i have used rank one and two of this gem. and also make that nasty noise of resits
the error is no valid targets for that effect

my main keeps getting disconnecting, w/re-attempt in.
I am just sittin at town and not doing anything atm. I have been disconnected at times also. Alt has no probs. Have each character on diff monitors, using my Geforce 9600 GT vid card.

Nod doesn't respont to keyboard after looking at purchase options.

I was deleveling from 32 back to 28 it now says I am level 29 when it should be 28 it also says I need 8 skills to level and not 4. all the mobs are conning to me now as a level 29 and now 28. can you please help me?
