An edit to the passive advancement, or maybe a new upgrade option?> every 20 levels in this skill allow you to set 1 more skill on passive at half the speed of the one before
example: lvl 100 passive advancement
weaponry: Slashing:Passive 1 (100% speed)
Slice: Passive 2 (50%)
Precision: Passive 3 (25%)
Double attack: Passive 4 (12.5%)
Dual Wield: Passive 5 (6.25%)
along with the option to set it to the number passive...and they can be set throughout all the tabs

Name : Heavy Hitter

Every point in this skill gives you 1% chance your damage pass your oppenent's parry (Damage is depending on your STR). At 100 level all your attacks pass your opponent's parry (Damage is 5% of your STR (10% with 2H) as in percent)

I meant if you have 600 STR 30% of your parried damage will pass through. Sorry english isnt my main language.

Default Mauling frenzy: New skill for BM

BM skills seriously need a few new ones added to the quite scanty skill list. A suggested one is as follows:
Mauling frenzy: Every point in this skill gives a whip user a 0.1% chance for your pet on that side to crit not once but upto 3 times. Thus at a skill of 100, each pet gets a 10% chance to crit upto 3 times. The number of crits is variable but can be increased by higher dexerity of your pet.

Thus, this skill will give new meaning to the stats the pet has but never been seen to be of any use till now. Also, gives BMs a little more 'ooomph' in their DPS to help them not only farm faster but also have a chance against DPS classes and DOT casters

(Ofc multicrit will also mean multiheal depending on fire n ice)

Default Discipline- bm skill

Each point in this skill increases the maximum attack of a pet on the side of a whip as a percentage of the melee skills of its master. The higher the training and melee skills, the higher the maximum damage a pet can achieve. The percentage can reach as high as 10% at skill of 100.
The skill also allows pets to learn skills like bloodlet, hemorrhage and slice from its master.
For non whip users the effect is very minimal

There should be a difference in pet types which will open a whole lot of options and builds.
"This pet does slashing type of damage"
"This pet does piercing type of damage"

That way in combination with my other idea about pets learning skills from their masters, one could choose a piercer pet and put a whole lot of dex enchants and work on the skill for pet discipline so that its pet could then puncture, cause bloodlet or hemorrhage

Some of these are good ideas, and Pets COULD receive a little more customization, but we have to remember, most of the skills already in place are pretty good, BMs (whip users) must look elsewhere to improve their overall build instead of many more BM skills..... IMO the reason sooo many BMs have maxed skills relative casters and melee who have maxed skills is b/c they are getting 66% more XP at learning skills cap than their melee/caster brethren. With Companionship skill maxed, BMs get a 150% XP advantage on skills, THAT is the reason for sooo many BMs having maxed skills relative casters and true melee.

Backlash/retaliation - Each point in this skill gives whip users a 0.1% chance to cause 1% more damage per skill when attacking with a whip after being struck by any melee, ranged, pet or direct damage. At a skill of 100, 10% of whip strikes in retaliation will have double the maximum damage.

Every point in this skill adds a 0.2% bonus to the stat you have selected for this skill to affect (str, dex, pst, int, cnc, mst, agi, cnt, dur, mre, pre, reg). At level 100 in this skill you can choose another stat to specialize in and the bonus does not stack with itself. The stat(s) can be changed once per day.

[Select skill for spec bonus]
You would right click and it would be an option under set skill for passive training.

Resourcefulness Skill

The most rested time that can be consumed by any resource mini game is 10 minutes. Every point in this skill reduces the limit by 0.9%. At a skill of 100 rested time stops being spent after 1 minute (20 seconds in accel) while completing the mini game for resources.

New Skill - Zoology
The level of this skill allows you to successfully create a Master recipe from your pet that will enable you to successfully clone it. This skill needs to be 5 levels above the pet level for Rares and 10 levels for Epic. This is affected by Naturalist and Invention Rune. Unfortunately your pet dies in the process.

A consumable recipe can then be created from the Master recipe.

New Skill - Cloning
This skill is needed to create a successful clone of your pet from the consumable recipe. Once again this skill needs to be 5 levels above the pet level for Rares and 10 levels for Epic. This is affected by Naturalist and Invention Rune.


An alternative is a Breeding Skill which enables you to put 2 pets the same level together along with some set ingredients and breed a new pet. If 2 different pets of the same level are used then the outcome is either of the starting pets.
