25%? i think this would be OP.... ingaine hitting 1/4 of the time on a level 121 boss, add 10% assurance, 10% Precision, 6% sleeve, and you got a high potential to hit and get heart of Darkness. (41% chance of hitting)

shouldn't the gem be x% less chance to miss tho since 10% more to hit suggests its mutliplying the chance to hit not reducing the chance to miss
other than that i support. I think there should be more gems that increase your dps

I like the idea but if its a gem, it'd be pretty much closed off to casters.
We have angellic flame call balance gem haste... and aura of contact?
that takes 5 spaces already. maybe 1 spot for DD and I guess we can sacrifice gem haste for the a spot for manabursts/invigorates. I'd be much more convenient as a skill. I hate how people complain that we casters have the full effect of something with no negatives when in reality, it greatly limits how flexible we are with gems.

That'd be awesome. I wouldn't be mad if this replaced our mind-blast stave as the legendary item.
But yeah, WAY too OP'd. Maybe x mana/energy/hp transfer per 5 seconds depending on which is highest.

How about instead, "Instant Balance":
It's a OPD balance that when used instantly evens out mana and energy(% wise), then disappears from play. It'd get the benefit from replay as well, so would be ideal for casters but also help meleers out who use majority mana for heals? Say Blue 20 just like over/hyper are 20 green.
I dunno how I feel about adding hp in there...maybe that could be a melee version to help them on harder fights for vengeance? But would also take away health to allow them to heal more...seems counter productive to me :\

Have an Aura that causes damage. It could activate similar to sloth.
Or a Damage gem that works like Gaia.
Rank 1: 2 poison damage over 5 seconds activates every 9 seconds
Rank 2: 3 Poison damage over 5 seconds activates every 9 seconds
and so on.
can do one that consumes mana or energy for more damage and less time.
Or Have a skill that lets you put Runes in your gem bag. just make it so you can't have double runes active or make it so you can;t use runes that are active in clan vault.

One Cast Per Draw
Remove all your gems from play. Put into play as many random gems as possible. Can only be cast if you have a staff equipped.
I like this gem because it creates an entirely new gem pouch strategy for casters and creates a conflict of choices of how to power up your gem draws, between strong aura based strategies, replay, gem haste and this.
I believe this gem would require the "staff users only" clause (as Rune of Incantation does), as I don't think its appropriate that non-casters / non-jewelers have this level of gem draw power.
A Brain Storm / Apocalypse Gem synergy would be an interesting arena strategy, although IMO Apocalypse Gem should have its cost reduced significantly.
With respect to Jewelers, i don't believe this gem would take anything away from this class, in fact it would enhance the jeweler class by allowing tighter "Gem Storm" strategies to be used. Also important to note, that Gem Storm is still strictly superior to Brain Storm in multiple ways.
